A state of the art Distillery

Nestled in a warm, often misty valley, protected by the colanic hills, Pōkeno is a hidden treasure that captures the pur spirit of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Everything at Pōkeno is driven by the goal to create one of the world's great single malts. Batch production, long fermentation and slow distillation are just a few of the things that help Pōkeno stand out. As craft distillers, they are also able to focus on quality over quantity, on doing things their way, not the easy way.

Only the finest casks are used to mature the precious spirit, and the warm sub-tropical local climate accelerates its maturation and flavour development. In Pōkeno the angels do not wait to take their share.
